Spiderman Back in MCU as Sony and Disney Reach an Agreement

Earlier the news of Spiderman’s failed deal last month the internet raged on the decision of Spiderman having to quit Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here’s the official announcement

Today, Disney and Sony collectively announced that they’d be producing a third film together staring Tom Holland as usual. They also agreed on making further appearances of Spiderman in movies associated with Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The announcement of release date for the third film has been made, it’ll be released on 16 July 2021.

A long wait but be do want to know what happened after the cliff hanger ‘Spiderman : Far From Home’ left us at.

 “I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it.
“Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”
Amy Pascal, who produced the first two Tom Holland solo Spider-Man films and will also produce the third, said: “This is terrific. Peter Parker’s story took a dramatic turn in Far From Home and I could not be happier we will all be working together as we see where his journey goes.”
