PM Modi and US President Trump shared the stage at the ‘Howdy, Modi’ event in Houston on Sunday, 22 September in Houston. After addressing the Indian diaspora at the NRG stadium, PM Modi inaugurated the Gandhi Museum in Houston and later, departed for New York to attend the 74th UNGA session.
The speech had various highlights, attracting the huge crowd that was present there. Noticeably, In Houston itself, Pakistan had done its best to rain on the ‘Howdy, Modi’ parade, going so far as to send one of its federal ministers to join the protestors.
But nothing could stop this rally for being a huge success.
Have a look for yourself how the internet reacted to this…
I am against calling people Anti-Indian if they are Anti-Modi. They have a right to their own political inclination.— Vishesh Arora (@vishesharora19) September 22, 2019
But if you aren't proud of the way he, as Prime Minister of India, is being welcomed & admired today in Texas, then I am sorry, you are Anti-Indian.#HowdyModi

After ages we are truly friends with the USA. Great to be close to the most affluent, powerful and creative country in the world. Stand next to winners, and you will be a winner one day. Stand next to losers, and you will get no where. #howdyModi— Chetan Bhagat (@chetan_bhagat) September 23, 2019
